At the Pony Academy we
endeavour to provide the children with an experience as similar as possible to having their own pony.
We start off with Pony Playgroup (4-5 year olds)
or the Introduction to Ponies Course (6 and up) for first
timers and beginners and work our way up to the Riding courses Mini Riders (5-6)
and Young Riders (6 and up). The more experienced
children can join The Pony Sharing Programme.
The sessions are divided into grooming/caring time,
and riding time/playing time. So every time they come they have the chance to hang out with their pony as well as joining
the riding lesson.
These courses run in line with school terms. During school holidays we run the very popular
Pony Camps.
During the spring and summer we offer the opportunity to go to local shows and hold our own in-house
shows, as well.
Other than the courses, we offer Pony Rides, Private
Lessons, Special Birthday Rides and the very popular Pony Birthday Parties. Please call for information on
these.
The Pony Academy is also a registered Pony Club Centre.
