We have 6 very special ponies at The Pony Academy, each with its very own Fan Club!

Tango

Tango is a 13.2hh, 13 year old highland cross that is very popular with all the children.  She is worth her weight in gold!!  She really takes care of her riders and is just perfect to learn on.  She is also the pony we use to do vaulting on.

This is a picture we took at a local show this summer where Tango came 5th in a class of 26 First Ridden Ponies.  We were so proud!!

Oliver

Oliver is our newest friend.  He arrived mid-February and very quickly decided he was going to be the boss!  He is a 17 year old, 13.2hh Exmoor pony that has 100 T-shirts in his wardrobe!  We are very lucky to have Oliver with us and look forward to having lots of fun together.  Here he is during Pony Camp taking a Mini Rider for a hack.

Winnie

Pinky is every little girl's dream come true!  We call her our Princess Pony.  She is an 11.3hh, 14 year old Welsh Cross with a lot of character.  She knows every trick in the book!!

We take Pinky to shows and she always comes back laden with rossettes.

Acorn

Acorn is our 'go-fast' pony.  He is very popular with the more advanced riders because he just loves to jump.

He is also a very friendly pony and will stand quietly for the younger children to learn about grooming and is happy to be led around.

Here you can see one of our young riders doing some Pony Savvy exercises with Acorn.
